For the creation of the poster I have strated of with a standard photograph taken in Sheffield. I have changed the opacity to allow for layers to then be applied on top. I have then added the logo at the top of the page and then by using CTRL T I have chnaged the size becuase when first selected it was small so this was then changed to the size I felt most aporopraite. By using the line tool this was How I have manged to get the box to how I like by changing the size of the line to a vairaible thin line and then combined all the lines together to then duplicate this and place below so I have two of them. I have then added text in the areas which are appropriate for the dates and website and along with the names of employers and bands. Then I have added in the logos and then canged the size of them to waht I see most appropriate.
I have used adobe indesign and adobe photoshop to create my logo. In adobe indesign i have used a steelwork font to make up the work Indie Fest. I have then used theline tol and shaped it to get the angle that I would like making sure the line is thick. I have used seven circles to represent seven hils of Sheffield and the rubbed out the parts I do not need to make them into semi circles. The buildings were made by rectangles which were then cropped bhind teI have then saved this as a PNG and then coloured in the buildings and letters and also the hills.
